Hi people! still visiting? Sorry been pretty lethargic with my “current” job now. Im now on the job assignment with jude, taking photos of wines/spirits etc. Very tedious and cause its like a few thousand i guess. ALOT. but working with jude is fun, we somehow managed to gossip, sing and stuffs like that, oh ya not forgetting people watch. Some secret assignment going on so keep tuning in haha!
Anyway, finally had time to finish up my Bangkok post.
So a bkk trip with jude mandy and pris, it was the 3rd day, we went on our separate ways.
KIDDING, just that we boys managed to walked the whole Platinum 2 the previous day and Pris is still stuck at Mall 1 lol.So jude and I decided to try our luck, visit Chatuchak even though its on a weekday. Its friday though, we thought we might be lucky. So after our usual breakfast, headed to Chatuchak, the weekend market!

So took the train, its so convenient seriously, just that the weather is seriously “last warning”. A.K.A JJ Market, so the exit of the train stations lead us to this huge park! And the first sign we saw is this! And the problem is that the park is enclosed, and if im not wrong the park’s gate is not opened so we walked around the park, feeling very strained due to the weather, then we happen to find this 2 thai guys, i spotted him and i assumed that they are thai cause they are speaking in thai.

So the clever me told jude to follow them since its BKK and its better to follow them lol. NOT. we end up walking another round. LOL. realised we have to walk OUT of the park and one big round to the first entrance of Chatuchak!

So yea we made it and seriously. Huge? Humongous? How can i describe Chatuchak? You know sadly most of the shops are closed. Well we were quite disappointed? NO! HAHA maybe for me but yes the truth is most shops are closed, but some are already preparing for the next day ( its saturday the next day.) So some apparels and shoe shops are opened and they sold items at a much cheaper price than it is on weekends as what the tenant said haha. Anyway, finally got myself a tiedye tee! Really happy cause the it was the first shop we saw and its selling at 100 baht, ain’t kidding 4 bucks for a decent fitting tie dye tee. AWESOME, had some cheap deals like skinnies ( which i did some studding to it, show yall next time.) and shorts. So glad to buy nice and cheap shorts, and some accessories.

Didn’t took alot of photos cause we were busy finding ”open” stalls/shops, and we toured the whole market like for close to an hour only, i remembered the SGs took 2 days, pity we didn’t had weekends. DAMN. I hope the next time i have weekends for BKK so i can see the bustling hours of Chatuchak!

A must have on this dreadful weather, for close to 2 bucks? AWESOME CHILLS MY FAVOURITE.
trained back to platinum to find the girls.

So despite having his usual power nap at night, he is still tired, so he kind of nap in the train, well thats not the point. we were sitting on sides. And we were not really sure which stop to alight, and when we realised we have to alight, we rushed out, and you know jude’s like “justwokeuprealisedandrushout” kind of reaction. Then when we were outside, he started fidgeting with his bag with his “just awake” face, his looking for his phone! I was shit this is not happening man. Then he realised it was hidden quite deep in the bag. WHUT?! scared the shit out of me, thats probably the only communication device to find mandy and pris.
Anyway, decided to walked to Platinum mall, which is a correct decision, finally got to experience the life of the thais. I meant i get to see how the students are dressed, which is kind of hideous (oversized tugged in shirt, shorts/skirts and long socks), some even had make up on their face, which is those very strong make up, and they will make fun of their friends and conversing in thai made it more interesting. The coolest part would be leaving school in 3s, in scooter. WOAH like awesome man.
Met up with PCPY and Mandy to buy our sandals! HAHA then went for lunch, had thai food, not those street kind though, we didn’t had time on food, more on shopping.

Had a long course of dish. Food there is really cheap, even for foodcourt! Had phad thai ( must-have), mango salad ( the mango is too hard and not so crunchy.) some green curry, quail eggs, each a main course and a bottle of drink. Well spent less than 6 bucks a person? ain’t kidding. SHIOK.

Well i think the Chatuchak’s street quail egg would be nicer cause its quite dry and cold. not that nice. :/
After our meals, headed down to get my shorts before i regret again. And walked randomly cause we didn’t had much more stuffs to shop alr. had Ice monster! a must have for this weather.

Meeting point again and for dinner at some random mall. ( ok lar i forget the mall’s name, i don’t think its random HAHA.)

You know how shagged we are? Cannot imagine how much the girsl bought cause they actuallt dragged their stuffs to the meeting point. After dinner went back to Siam Square ( i think) , it was raining and we couldn’t go far, headed to MBK for thai massage! It was damn good, didn’t take photos though cause its raining. The massage place is like ISETAN in MBK, something like that. After massage it was quite late, finished up the buys at opp siam sqaure and headed back to the hotel. I was actually disappointed we didn’t head to any clubs at Ratchada, wanted to experience their nightlife. But well, next time luh.
Went back, bought some vodks and the must have fried spicy rice.

Well we packed our stuffs at night as usual, with kpop it ended nice haha! Next day was leaving bkk day. Had our last bkk meal before departing for Singapore!

MANGO STICKY RICE! It is a must try! Im lucky enough to try this last minute. Anyway was thinking how can mango and rice compliment so well? Oh it is glutinous rice! A must try, i ate most of it cause it was really nice haha!

Not forgetting their very awesome Ice Thai Milk Tea, damn good gosh i missed their food and drinks, even their lifestyle! I really hope to visit BKK very soon!!!
